Community Airports are vital to regional infrastructure and the economy, but they also serve many other crutial services such as Air Ambulance Services, Marine Safety, Search & Rescue and weather information.

Wiarton Keppel International Airport is home base for COPA Flight 68 and our aviation events. Proudly owned and operated by the Township of Georgian Bluffs, WKIA has served residents for over 70 years providing a wealth of value to the Grey and Bruce Counties as a regional facility.

COPA Flight 68 is an excellent way for students to gain some early exposure to the world of general aviation and aircraft. We offer several ways for young people within Grey Bruce counties to engage in the world of flight.

Air & Auto Extravaganza is one of our most successful community and aviation events appealing to families and aviation enthusiasts alike! Close to 2000 people attend this drive in/fly in event to enjoy aircraft exhibits & classic car/motorcycle displays.
Volunteering offers the chance to give back to the community and can provide an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing knowledge. We welcome you to join us as a volunteer at one or all of COPA Flight 68 Aviation events.
COPA for Kids, nationally, has introduced 23,000+ young Canadians (aged 8-17) to the world of general aviation! This is one of the most popular aviation events hosted by COPA Flight 68 every summer offering close to 2000 FREE flights to youngsters locally!

Wiarton born Eileen Vollick became Canada's first licensed female pilot in 1928. Wiarton Keppel International Airport named its passenger terminal after Eileen Vollick in recognition of her accomplishments and dedicated a memorial parkette in her honor.
